Alice Cooper Live, Feb-03-1988, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

It was 1988, I was in high school, & Alice Cooper was coming to town with Motorhead supporting.... (get the Motorhead set here)
Holy exciting!
I smuggled my Sony cassette recorder into the show in the sleeve of my jean jacket and recorded the show with it in my front chest pocket.
Guess what? It sounds just like it was recorded on a walkman in the pocket of a jean jacket. Hahaha!
It is what it is, but it's mine; and now I'm sharing it.

I remember - I think it was during Go To Hell? - a monster shambled out onstage with a fake rubber head. Alice took an axe and chopped the head off. It hunched over and started squirting blood from its neck stump into the audience.

The blood literally shot straight into my eye. I remember thinking, I hope this is non-toxic!

After the show, the blood splatter on my face looked pretty cool. I walked home and everyone was scurrying to get out of my way, like I'd been In a fight or something.

Thanks for sharing this!

Does anyone know when Alice Cooper played at the Thompson Student Centre in late sixties or early seventies?

Some people stalk my blog.
I like that about them. :-)
You should too.
